Most mainstream fast food joints now have a vegan burger available and they’re becoming increasingly popular.

It is well known that this food is acidic, processed and full of preservatives and chemicals.

These Alkaline Quinoa Burgers are chemical free, easy to make and jam packed with nutrition.

Each ingredient is alkaline and follows Dr. Sebi’s Nutritional Guide which is a non-hybrid all natural list of foods that support cell health and renewal.

Here’s the kitchen equipment you’ll need to get started:

Equipment

– A Food Processor
– A Freezer
– Stovetop / Hob / Oven / Air Fryer

Ingredients

Remember, to keep in line with Dr. Sebi’s Alkaline Nutrition Plan, use organic, non-canned fresh ingredients for optimal health.

We recommend storing the burgers in anything but plastic to avoid any toxicity.

– 1 cup / 8 oz / 226 grams of Quinoa
– 1 cup / 8 oz / 226 grams of Mushrooms
– 1 cup / 8oz / 226 grams of Bell Pepper
– 1 cup / 8oz / 226 grams of Zucchini/Courgette
– A half cup / 4oz / 113 grams of Onion
– 2 cups / 16oz / 452 grams of Cooked Chickpeas
– 1 cup / 8oz / 226 grams of Chickpea Flour
– Grapeseed Oil (for frying)

Method

A little preparation is required before the burger patties are made, here’s how to get going with these amazing Vegan Quinoa Burgers that are made with Alkaline Foods and all are Dr. Sebi approved:

1- Cook the Quinoa by boiling / steaming / rice cooker.

2- Chop the Mushrooms, Pepper, Zucchini and onions and sauté them in a pan with Grapeseed Oil until cooked.

3- Add the Quinoa, Mushrooms, Zucchini, Pepper and Onions to a food processor on a light speed and slowly add in the Chickpea Flour.

4- Shape the mixture by hand into 6 equal burger patties.

5- Put the patties into the freezer for an hour, this is to ‘drain’ the water from the burger that is retained by the vegetables.

6- Bake / pan fry / air fry the patties for 10-15 minutes or until cooked thoroughly. Serve with Alkaline Cheese and Alkaline Ketchup. Enjoy!
